About Michael Terry
Michael Terry's early career was spent in business before he
turned to writing fiction. A graduate of Wesleyan University,
Terry earned a Master's degree from the University of Pennsylvania
before entering the world of investment banking and high finance.
He takes his title from Matthew 5:14 in the Bible and enjoys using
fiction to explore themes where God is present and active in the
moral entanglements in men and women's lives. Terry lives on a
small farm in Tennessee where he and his family board horses
and raise poultry and other farm animals. Terry's interest in
Washington, D.C. stems from his growing-up days there when his
father was a high-ranking appointee in the Kennedy and Johnson
administrations.
